POSTDOCTORAL RESEARCHER – DEVELOPMENT OF HIGH-ENERGY LI-
ION BATTERIES. CIC energiGUNE is an energy research centre based in the Basque Country of
Spain. Its mission is to play a leading role on the international stage in the field of energy storage
technologies and contribute to the industrial competitiveness of Basque Country. CIC is a world-class
research facility with cutting-edge equipments, CIC is composed of young, international and dynamic
research teams. CIC energiGUNE is seeking an experienced researcher to work on the development
and thorough understanding of high-energy cathode and anode materials for Li-ion batteries. Job
functions: Integration of a high-voltage cathode material and a high-capacity anode material into a full
Li-ion cell. Advanced characterization of cathode and anode materials, cell components and their
interfaces using a wide range of techniques (X-ray and neutron powder diffraction, electron
microscopy, XPS, solid-state NMR and Raman spectroscopies, etc. as well as electrochemical
techniques). Complete understanding of the degradation mechanisms occurring at materials and cell
levels. Write technical reports and publications for high-impact journals. Supervise technicians.
Qualification requirements: PhD Solid-State Chemistry, Materials Science, Chemistry, Chemical
engineering or any related field. Experience in material characterizations and batteries. Demonstrated
self-motivation and ability to work independently. A good team player who can collaborate with other
groups, academic and industrial partners. Good verbal and written communication skills in English
(Spanish is not compulsory). What we offer: We offer a 42-month contract and attractive professional

PROJECT ENGINEER POSITION AT CIC ENERGIGUNE. CIC energiGUNE is an

is seeking an experienced engineer to work on the development of printed batteries. Job functions:
Inks formulation. Formulations test and printability analysis. Functional materials printing and
different printing techniques evaluation. Participate actively in projects and support the group activity.
Write technical reports and procedures.Search and select new equipment and / or accessories
according to the needs and possibilities. Ensure the proper functioning of the equipment, including the
performance or supervision of preventive and corrective maintenance, internal calibrations, etc.
Internal training activities related to their knowledge. Participate in dissemination activities: technical
conferences, congresses, informative articles, etc. Supervise technicians. Qualification requirements:
Materials engineering, Chemistry, Materials Science or any Engineering related field with at least 3
years’ experience in: Background in dispersion and inks formulation. Experience in Printability tests
and analysis. Knowledge in printing technologies (screen printing, flexography, gravure, inkjet and
offset). Characterization of inks and / or coatings. Knowledge of plastic materials characterization

techniques: FTIR, DSC, TGA, optical and electronic microscopy, etc. Knowledge of Plastic Materials.
Demonstrated self-motivation and ability to work independently. A good team player who can
collaborate with other groups, academic and industrial partners. Valuable experience in energy storage
field. Good verbal and written communication skills in English (Spanish or Basque valuable but not

Postdoc Researcher Solid Inorganic Electrolyte. CIC energiGUNE is an energy

equipments, CIC is composed of young, international and dynamic research teams. CIC energiGUNE
is seeking an experienced Researcher to engage in the research and development of solid-state
inorganic electrolyte for rechargeable batteries. Job function: Design and synthesize inorganic
electrolytes for electrochemical energy storage. Complete characterization of materials using
analytical instruments. Guide the electrode preparation, coin cell fabrication, and electrochemical
testing of the materials. Write proposals when requested to secure funding from government and
industrial sources. Supervise PhD students and technicians. Qualification requirements: PhD in Solid
State chemistry / Materials science / Chemistry / engineering or a related field is required. Experience
in synthesis of inorganic materials and more particularly of sulfide material. A team player who can
collaborate with colleagues in other groups, technical centers, and industries. Good verbal and written
communication skills in English. Spanish and Basque are optional but not compulsory. Experience in

solid-state electrolytes (polymer or ceramic) or related energy storage technologies will be an

INGENIERO QUÍMICO, precisa importante empresa de Ingeniería para Ingeniero
de Procesos, en sus oficinas de Madrid. Reportando al Jefe del Departamento, sus principales
responsabilidades serán: Realizar la ingeniería conceptual y establecer las bases del diseño del
proceso. Desarrollar la ingeniería básica. Supervisar la ingeniería de detalle. Participar en reuniones

internas con los departamentos implicados. Hacer seguimiento y análisis cualitativo del proceso,
apoyando técnicamente a fabricación cuando lo requieran con el fin de dar solución técnica a los
problemas. Negociar con suministradores de equipos, realizar un listado de los mismos y sus hojas de

INGENIERO QUÍMICO, precisa Seppelec, para ampliar el equipo del Área Técnica,
para Ingeniero de Procesos. Funciones: Gestión integral de proyectos, nacionales e internacionales,
entre las tareas destacan: Laborales de oficina técnica: Cálculos de proceso, realización de planos
P&ID y elaboración de listados de materiales mediante dominio de elementos y equipos de proceso
para líquidos. Solicitud de ofertas técnicas a proveedores. Ejecución y control de proyectos:
Planificación de proyecto, coordinación interdepartamental, gestión documental, control técnico de los
proyectos y de la ingeniería de detalle. Control de fabricación verificando parámetros de calidad en

con los departamentos de logística y facturación. Supervisión de montaje y puesta en marcha.
Funciones técnico-comerciales: Atención al cliente, elaboración de propuestas técnicas y estiamción
de costes. Para ello buscamos una persona que tenga: Una experiencia mínima de 5 años en funciones
similares a las descritas (preeriblemente en sector industrial alimentario, farmacéutico, químico…).
Nivel alto de inglés escrito y hablado. Disponibilidad inmediata de incorporación. Disponibilidad total
